Founding members of the National Academy of Engineering". National Academy of Engineering . Retrieved October 21, 2012. This is a great and classical book in electromagnetic theory. Note that is is rather advanced both in context, treatment and notation and I would recommend for graduate or reference use rather than as a teaching text.He published the classic book "Electromagnetic Theory" as part of the McGraw-Hill series in Pure and Applied Physics in 1941. It has been re-issued by the IEEE. He was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 1946. [4]
